Hey i Recently Got My Ngage QD and a 1GB MMC,
i Rip DVD's to AVI Using AoA DVD Ripper (i can choose to input even subtitles), Then i Use Mobile Movie Maker From Makayama,

i Bought Smart movie make r too but i prefer this software the encoding time is much more faster. and saves me alot and alot of time. also to use this software you have to choose the your mobile phone from the menu, and it will optimise it for My N-gage QD, This player saves them as avi not 3gp, let's say from a 700mb movie it can convert it to 70mb depending on the film.

To play the film on my QD i use Smart Movie Player.

The best thing to get is an app that allows you to rip the dvd to normal .AVI (divX or Xvid)

And then use Smartmovie to convert it to the perfect format for your mobile phone [Smile]

Smartmovie you have to pay for but is an great app.
It comes with a player and converter!!

i have one problem..i use ngage QD..so if i want use pocket player 3.01..how i want use it??can or not??:-?

hi, wondering if you could help me, kinda stupid question and already asked before in this forum.. unfortunately no one replied so i guess im repeating the question. I've downloaded the codec from the link jingles gave. So than, what do i do next? i mean, i have the converter..the play on my n-gage QD. When i try to convert a video, theres that error in which it says that i need a codec...blah blah blah. What do i do afterwards? Do i open the codecs? i already tried that... and under the video settings...i still cant touch that either. What do i do? thanks
